Total Hip Replacement

Total Hip Replacement (THR), also known as total hip arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure performed to relieve pain and improve function in a hip joint that has been severely damaged by arthritis, fractures, or other conditions. In this procedure, the damaged bone and cartilage are removed and replaced with artificial components—a metal or ceramic ball attached to a stem, and a socket usually made of plastic, metal, or ceramic. THR is commonly recommended when conservative treatments like medication, walking aids, or physiotherapy no longer provide adequate relief. The surgery can significantly reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve quality of life. Post-surgery, patients undergo rehabilitation to regain strength and function in the hip.Best Hip Replacement in Bandra, Mumbai
